Real Madrid have been dealt a blow in their bid to sign Martin Odegaard
It has been gathered that Odegaard's contract with Arsenal does not include a clause that would allow him to return to Real Madrid.
The midfielder signed a permanent contract with the Gunners in 2021 after spending the second half of the previous season with the club on loan. He has since become a significant part of Arteta's wheel, rumors have circulated regarding a possible return to Real Madrid.
However, if Madrid want to bring him back to the Santiago Bernabeu, it may be more difficult. Romano has reported that the club does not have a buyback clause for Odegaard.
